Omg I’m so sorry I have absolutely no idea how long this has been here :(((( SORRY GUISE I know I’ve been on hiatus forever (and lost like 30+ followers, go figure)
Ummmm I’m still here- thanks for asking! :) I’ve gone on hiatus for a lot of reasons but I’ll just list my main ones (there’s just two):
a. I’ve started doing classes for my major and minor and I’m also graduating a semester early (aka next year) and basically I’m swamped with work, plus a ton of applications for summer school and jobs and internships and blah blah blah boring shit
b. I really really REALLY need to get a 4.0 this semester so that my parents will let me go for another SPN con sometime this year
I’ll try to set up a queue over spring break if I get my work done on time. See ya then <3
(also happy birthday Jensen I love you <3333 )
There are literally SO MANY FUCKING PEOPLE who will write pages and pages about the inherent goodness in Sam Winchester. I’ve had a couple of angry messages sent because I spoke negatively of Sam’s choices, all containing this bottom line:
He made a mistake. Nobody’s perfect, but everyone deserves a second chance. Look how much good he’s done.
9 seasons of defending Sam’s choices, of standing up for him but when Jared makes one (pretty bad) mistake, everyone’s suddenly up in arms, calling him a piece of shit.
What happened to seeing the good in Jared Padalecki? All the work he does for his fans, for his charities, all the good he’s spread but all of a sudden he’s an awful person whose character deserves to be killed off. Whose career deserves to die. Who deserves to suffer financially, physically, emotionally for the one poor choice he made.
I’m not defending his actions- I loved PSH, he was one of my favourite people and I’m really upset about the way Jared handled this- but I AM condemning everyone’s double standards. Every single one of you who has, personally or otherwise, sent me or someone else hate mail when we speak out against Sam Winchester- a FICTIONAL character, no matter how much I adore him; but suddenly you have an immense hatred for a man because of his one single decision and are spouting off about him.
In short: fuck your double standards. If you idolize someone to the point where you truly believe that he or she is perfect and can do no wrong, then you DESERVE to be let down. It’s the harsh truth- people will let you down, the world does suck ass. Grow up and learn to accept someone with their flaws, or don’t get involved at all.
Okay firstly, please stop sending me anonymous Jared hate in my inbox. You do realize that I am in no way affiliated with him, so that’s kinda pointless and annoying.
Secondly, I don’t think the way Jared worded his tweet was right, I’m not even saying it was the right decision to post it either, but I AM going to say this:
I see stuff like this all over my Twitter feed and dashboard, and then people wonder why I don’t go online anymore.
Regardless, I’m deeply saddened to hear about Philip Seymour Hoffman’s death as I absolutely adored his work. My condolences to his family and friends, and may he rest in peace.
i’m scared that you
won’t be waiting
on the other side
When all of your flaws and all of my flaws
Are laid out one by one
A wonderful part of the mess that we made
We pick ourselves undone
